With current music trends and exposure to popular music, many people are selecting the guitar to learn.  In providing quality lessons, we are able to teach you the theory behind playing guitar and the understanding of music to help you develop your playing to the level you wish to take it.

Jackson has a wonderful gift for music having not only studied piano but also Bass guitar.  Jackson brings an “easy going” feel to his teaching and enjoys passing on his knowledge to others.

Jackson has been a devoted student of Hallmark Music Studio for many years where he has completed high levels in both practical and theory exams.  He has a strong passion for building up excellence in others and helping them become the best they can be with music.  He enjoys teaching students the fundamentals of music and incorporates a “fun” yet true method of passing on theory concepts to students.

He currently provides tuition to students at selected schools, plus after hours tuition in Cumberland Park, and travels to some students (conditions apply and subject to suitable location).

Consultant – Guitar and Theory

Django’s interest in music began at an early age, picking up the guitar at age 4. His interest in music drove him to learn by ear and subsequently develop a good understanding of genre and style.

During High School he became a member of the school stage band and played both guitar and drums in the schools musicals and cabaret nights.

In 2011, Django was accepted into the Elder Conservatorium of Music to study a Bachelor of Jazz Performance in Guitar.

He has consistently achieved high results in University and has won two awards for high achievement, one of which was the Director’s Award.

Django is interested in many different styles of music and is an experienced live performer of rock, jazz, blues and contemporary music. He enjoys passing his knowledge on to others and always strives to find the best way to work with individual students.
